On this page you will find a concise description of the three concepts and a picture of the initial low-fi prototype (please note this is not the latest prototype).


Concept 1: 'Too Healthy to Handle'

Too Healthy to Handle is a funny and informative video series to be distributed by Student&Stad, the universities of The Hague, and organizations affiliated with Student&Stad. The 3 part series informs on topics such as:1. The importance of health insurance
2. The Dutch health care system
3. Different health care packages
4. The potential risks and fines
5. The government health care benefits.
Each video has its own comedic style, including a reality TV style, mockumentary and “how-to” guide.


Concept 2: 'HealthLab'

HealthLab is a 30 minute info-session for 1st year students, taking place at multiple points throughout the academic year at The Hague’s universities. The event consists of:1. A video about the risks and peer experiences with health insurance2. A GP explaining the Dutch health care system and different packages3. A live guide to applying for health insurance and the government health benefits4. A Q&A session


Concept 3: 'Dutch Health Adventure'

Dutch Health Adventure is an interactive POV game with different plots depending on a series of choices made by viewer/user.The game simulates an international students experience through a health emergency in The Hague. Throughout the game, a “health” and “cash” bar increase and decrease, to indicate the consequences of decisions. In the end the player will see what would have happened if they did/didn't have health insurance.
